Glazing Options
We have a range of different glazing options available for every situation or style requirement. For instance, extra thin double glazing (12mm) used to meet specifications required for listed buildings, or glass that imitates the uneven quality of old fashioned glass (Crown glass) can be used.
Double glazing is usually 24mm sealed units and starts with low “E” also know as “K” glass, this is a reflective coating applied to the inside face (between the unit) of the inner glass pane and provides a u-value (Kilowatt hours lost per square metre per year) of 1.7, this can be upgraded with various other coating and Argon filling down to 1.0. We can also offer triple glazing on some frames, which gives values down to 0.7.
We can also provide leaded glazing, etched and decorative effects and Georgian bar styling for your windows.
